WHAT YOU FEED MATTERS

Organic begins with the grower. Our certified organic ingredients have never been directly or indirectly exposed to artificial pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, hormones, fertilizers, GMO’s, or animal by-products.

The national Academy of Sciences states that 90% of the chemicals and pesticides that are deemed safe by the government and applied to foods have never undergone testing for long term effects. GMO‘s (which are genetically modified organisms), growth hormones, pesticides, and antibiotics given to livestock are passed on to consumers.

Using certified organic livestock feed is better for your health and better for the environment. For instance, organically raised poultry is lower in calories and total fat than conventionally raised poultry — up to 21% less total fat, and it also has a higher level of vitamins. The same can be said for beef and dairy. It is important to note that the medical community has linked consumption of antibiotics through eating conventional meat and poultry to poor gut health in humans. These antibiotics, which are given to livestock and passed on to consumers, destroy the good bacteria in our gut resulting in bloat, obesity, sluggishness, etc. Peterson Organic Feeds is committed to providing healthy, clean, certified organic feeds because what you eat matters.

Paul and Laura are warm, friendly people. They're also very knowledgeable about the benefits of organic feeding, and sincerely believe in the benefits of their organic livestock feed vs non-organic feed. Great products, great customer service. Highly recommended!
