About the Petersons
The Petersons have been around ranching and livestock for most of their lives. They have raised cattle, sheep, swine, goats, and poultry. Paul Peterson had been in the medical field for 20 years before he decided to venture into a field that is important to him: raising livestock and producing quality feed. He understands the importance of eating clean. After researching the health benefits of consuming organic meat and poultry, Paul and his family decided to start their own USDA Certified Organic livestock feed business, and Peterson Organic Feeds became a reality.
It is important to us that our customers receive the freshest organic feed possible, so we mix each order when it is received. Our goal is to treat our customers the way we, ourselves, would like to be treated along with promoting clean eating and a healthy lifestyle.
About theo
Theo has an extensive background in livestock and farm management, starting from a young age with his dad’s work in the commercial hog industry. He then pursued a degree in Conservation and Wildlife Management. After completing his degree, he returned to his roots to help his uncle’s row crop farm in Northern Missouri and during that time, he built his own cattle herd. However, he began questioning the traditional agriculture model and wanted to use the skills and knowledge he had obtained to find a better way. He then met his wife Bailey, and they found their way back to her hometown of Mountain Grove, Missouri. This led him to Peterson Organic Feeds, where he has been a part of the team for over 2 years.
